Catholic Charities of Michigan has a long tradition of caring for those most in need. To this end, we work with individuals, families and communities to help them meet their needs, address their issues, eliminate oppression, and to build a just and compassionate society.
In service to humanity, believing in the presence of God in our midst, we proclaim the sanctity of human life and the dignity of the person by sharing in the mission of Jesus given to the church.
Our Network of Agencies provide a wide variety of services, including mental health, counseling, substance abuse rehabilitation, pregnancy support, family reunification, senior citizen programs, financial counseling, and youth/run-away programs. We are committed to offering assistance to anyone in the State of Michigan who needs support, care and compassion for a variety of personal and social issues.
Drawing upon the rich tradition of Catholic Social Teaching, our Mission is to enhance the emotional, social and spiritual life of individuals and families in Michigan. We strive to be an effective and recognized human service organization, strengthening the services of the member agencies.
Catholic Charities of Michigan provides help to everyone, regardless of their faith, who might be struggling with issues in their everyday lives. As a member agency of the Catholic Charities national network, we are focused on making a difference in the lives of people in need, providing essential services.
